Why Join AqNova
AqNova is building the infrastructure that makes sustainable commerce real — not as a marketing category, but as a functioning global system where trust, verification, enforcement, and access work together at scale. If you want to do work that holds meaning beyond a single project cycle, this is where that work gets done.
We are not organized around job titles or short-term deliverables. Careers at AqNova are for people who want to contribute to systems that outlast any one role, any one product launch, or any one market trend. The work spans platform architecture, governance, vendor operations, logistics infrastructure, compliance, partnerships, and the standards that allow ethical businesses to reach global markets responsibly.
AqNova operates through ecosystems, not isolated teams. Roles here are cross-functional by design, collaborative by necessity, and structured to evolve as the platform matures across 25+ countries and six continents. If you are energized by complexity, accountability, and the knowledge that what you build genuinely matters to real people — in Accra, in Vancouver, in Seoul, in Lima — you will find this work worth doing.
Life at AqNova
AqNova is a place for builders who care about what lasts. Our culture is grounded in integrity, disciplined execution, and the kind of long-term thinking that produces platforms worthy of the trust placed in them.
We value substance over noise. Credibility over hype. Systems that endure over shortcuts that impress. The work here is intentional, the standards are high, and the expectations are clear — because trust is earned through how we build, not just what we ship.
Ownership is non-negotiable at AqNova. You are trusted to lead your work, speak plainly, collaborate thoughtfully, and act with the kind of responsibility that our vendors, consumers, and partners deserve. We do not believe in managing people through bureaucracy. We believe in hiring people who do not need to be managed.
We believe that strong outcomes come from calm focus, honest conversations, and deep respect for craft. We do not pursue growth at the expense of people, communities, or the future. Ethics are not a policy layer at AqNova — they are embedded in how we operate, who we partner with, and what we choose not to do.
The platform we are building will be used by a cooperative in Ghana trying to reach a global market for the first time, by a family in Calgary making conscious choices for their household, by a wellness brand in Kuala Lumpur that deserves better distribution, and by a consumer in Berlin who is done with greenwashing. That is who you are building for. If that responsibility feels motivating rather than heavy, you will feel at home here.
“Come build what lasts.”
How Engagement at AqNova Works
AqNova is a global marketplace platform in active growth. We are not a traditional employer with a fixed headcount chart and open requisitions for every function. We are a platform building its operational and leadership infrastructure deliberately and in stages — prioritizing fit, alignment, and long-term contribution over speed.
Opportunities at AqNova May Include
✓ Platform-level and cross-functional operational roles as the marketplace scales
✓ Advisory engagements structured to transition into full-time C-Suite positions upon completion of AqNova’s seed funding round
✓ Vendor ecosystem roles supporting onboarding, compliance, and regional market development
✓ Technology, data, and infrastructure roles aligned to AqNova’s Phase 2 platform expansion
✓ Regional and market-specific roles across North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Latin America
✓ Contract, advisory, and project-based engagements depending on scope, region, and stage of platform development
As a Result
Not all roles are immediately active. Some positions are structured to open as the platform reaches defined growth milestones. Engagement may be full-time, contract-based, advisory, or project-based depending on function and geography.
We are selective by design. Alignment, integrity, and long-term commitment matter more to us than speed of hiring.
If You Are Motivated By
– Designing systems that outlast trends and serve real people at global scale
– Working across markets, cultures, languages, and regulatory environments simultaneously
– Building infrastructure that enables ethical producers and conscious consumers to find each other
– Balancing ambition with discipline, accountability, and a genuine commitment to doing things right
– Contributing to a platform whose success is measured not just in revenue, but in access created and trust earned
…then AqNova may be exactly where your career belongs.
Current Advisory & Leadership Opportunities
AqNova’s Executive Leadership Team is currently structured through a senior advisory model. Each C-Suite role begins as a non-compensated strategic advisory engagement and is formally structured to transition into a full-time executive appointment upon completion of AqNova’s seed funding round.
This is not a placeholder model. These are active, substantive roles. Advisory leaders work directly with the Founder & CEO, contribute to platform strategy, and are positioned to become the executive team that scales AqNova through its next phase of global growth. For the right individual, this is the opportunity to help shape the architecture of a global marketplace from the inside — before the world catches up to what it’s becoming.
AqNova Advisory Board — Open Roles
AqNova is actively assembling a multidisciplinary Advisory Board of experienced executives across commerce, technology, logistics, finance, marketing, and people operations. Advisory Board members provide strategic guidance as the platform expands its vendor network, strengthens marketplace infrastructure, and prepares for international growth at scale.
C-Suite Advisory Searches Currently in Progress:
Each search is targeting an experienced executive ready to engage at the advisory level now and transition to full-time C-Suite leadership as the platform scales. Candidates are evaluated on domain expertise, cross-market experience, cultural alignment with AqNova’s mission, and the capacity to build — not just manage — within their function.
Advisory Board Expertise — Areas of Focus
✓ Global e-commerce marketplace growth and platform scaling
✓ Sustainable consumer products, ethical supply chains, and certification frameworks
✓ Technology platform architecture, digital infrastructure, and AI/ML systems
✓ International logistics, cross-border fulfillment, and supply chain operations
✓ Financial strategy, capital markets, and institutional investment
✓ Global marketing, brand development, and consumer growth at scale
✓ Human capital strategy, organizational design, and global workforce development
✓ Compliance, risk governance, and multi-jurisdictional regulatory strategy
Equal Opportunity & Inclusion
AqNova is an equal opportunity employer and equal opportunity platform. We are committed to building a team that reflects the global communities we serve. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
At AqNova, inclusion is not a compliance commitment — it is an operational philosophy. A marketplace designed to serve vendors in rural Ghana, artisan cooperatives in Colombia, and organic farmers in Tamil Nadu equally with brands in Los Angeles and Berlin cannot be built by a team that does not understand or reflect that diversity of experience. We hire for breadth of perspective, depth of expertise, and alignment with our values.
AqNova’s equal opportunity obligations extend across all jurisdictions in which we operate, including compliance with applicable federal and state equal employment opportunity laws in the United States, the EU Equal Treatment Framework Directives, the UK Equality Act 2010, and equivalent legislation in all operating jurisdictions globally.
Pay Transparency
AqNova is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in all markets where applicable law requires or where transparency serves our team’s interests.
United States
Where required by applicable US state law — including the California Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act (SB 1162), Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, New York City Local Law 32, and equivalent state statutes — AqNova will disclose compensation ranges in job postings. Pay ranges reflect the full scope of the role, candidate experience, geographic market, and applicable cost-of-labor factors.
Canada
AqNova complies with applicable provincial pay equity and pay transparency legislation, including Ontario’s Pay Transparency Act and equivalent provincial statutes. Compensation ranges will be provided in job postings where required.
European Union & United Kingdom
AqNova supports the EU Pay Transparency Directive (Directive 2023/970/EU) and the principles of equal pay for equal work as established under EU law and the UK Equality Act 2010. Compensation structures across European operations are designed to support pay equity and will be disclosed in line with applicable requirements.
Global Markets
In all other operating jurisdictions, AqNova complies with applicable local wage and pay equity legislation. Compensation for all roles — advisory, contract, or full-time — will be communicated clearly at the appropriate stage of the engagement process.

The Work Worth Doing Is Rarely the Easy Work.
AqNova is not a comfortable place to coast. It is a demanding place to build. The standards are high because the people depending on this platform — vendors who have never had access to a global market, consumers who have never had a source they could trust, communities whose livelihoods run through the supply chains we verify — deserve a platform that takes that responsibility seriously.
The people who build AqNova will look back on this work and know that it mattered. Not because a press release said so. Because the artisan in Accra got their first international sale. Because the family in Calgary finally found a marketplace they could trust. Because the standard held, even when it was hard to hold it.
If that is the kind of work you have been looking for — work that demands the best of you and gives back something that endures — then AqNova is where you belong.
Come build what lasts.
